Ho Chi Minh City – Under the theme “Sustainable Design for Modern Residential Spaces,” the event features four speakers from Europe and Vietnam: French architect Sophie Valla (Sophie Valla Architects) and Swedish architect Anders Tväråna (White Arkitekter), representing two leading European architectural offices whose projects are closely aligned with sustainable development goals, combining innovative techniques, materials, and spatial solutions that open new possibilities.
From the local side, architects Trung Mai and Vu Linh Quang present perspectives on the characteristics of Vietnam’s urban environments and discuss the positive developments they have contributed to the country’s architecture and construction sectors.

Exchange and Awareness
Through the sharing of ideas, insights, and visions — alongside the exploration of best practices from both Europe and Vietnam — the workshop offers an opportunity for rich exchange, connection, and potential collaboration. The program includes two discussion sessions and a networking reception.
Also attending the event are EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier, representatives of EU Member States’ diplomatic missions, members of the architectural and design community, university representatives, and stakeholders in materials, equipment, and the creative industries.
